Physicians Mutual Insurance Company Transitions to ScriptSave® WellRx – Enhancing Collaborative Partnership with ScriptSave

TUCSON, AZ (February 1, 2017) – For more than 17 years, ScriptSave has partnered with Physicians Mutual to provide their customers with discounts on prescription medications. Physicians Mutual delivered the ScriptSave Prescription Savings Program to their policyholders, who have saved $185 million on their prescriptions.

We are happy to announce that Physicians Mutual will transition their current ScriptSave program to ScriptSave WellRx, a technology enabled prescription savings and management program. ScriptSave WellRx will not only deliver prescription discounts to Physicians Mutual’s Medicare Supplement, Life Insurance, and Annuity Insurance customers, it will also provide new tools that promote medication education and adherence. Customers will be equipped with a mobile app and website, which show medication prices at local pharmacies, provide helpful medication information and images, direct pharmacist support through “Ask a Pharmacist”, and reminder tools to promote adherence and wellness.
