With the ScriptSave WellRx Medicine Chest, we’ll help take the worry out of forgetting to take (or refill) your meds.

Set-up Reminders & Alerts. A Quick-start Guide, from “ScriptSave University”

Here’s how to set reminders for each medication you take. Get alerts when it’s time to take the next dose, or time to see your pharmacist for a refill – all from within the FREE, personal Medicine Chest.

  • Step 2. Navigate to the Medicine Chest to view & add saved medications.
  • Step 3. Click the 3 vertically stacked dots (see screenshot below) that appear next to the drug you want to create reminders for. This will reveal a new sub-menu of options:
    • Select “Manage” (see the screenshot below).

  • Step 4. “Take My Meds” Reminders and Refill Reminders can be set-up after selecting the “Manage” option (show above) from the sub-menu for each specific drug. See the screenshot below for how to proceed with either of these 2 reminder options.

“Take my Meds” Reminders

  • Click “SET PILL REMINDER” to begin creating reminders for taking your medications (see the screenshot below).

You’ll be able to create daily reminders, as well as ‘Interval’ reminders (if you need to follow/remember a more complex regimen that requires you to skip every 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc. day, for example). You can also set up ‘Cycle’ reminders if your prescription regimen requires you to skip certain chunks of the month (for example, the placebo pills in a monthly cycle of birth control medication).

Refill Reminders

  • Click “SET REFILL REMINDER” to begin creating reminders to call or visit the pharmacy for your next prescription refill (see the screenshot below).

If you enter the details about your current refill cycle (including the number of pills and how frequently you take them), we’ll be able to email you a reminder before you run out.

Insider Tip:

See our related Quick-start Guide to learn how the Medicine Chest can price check your full prescription regimen with one click (rather than having to re-enter everything each month).
