LOTEPREDNOL; TOBRAMYCIN (loe te PRED nol; toe bra MYE sin) treats eye swelling, redness, or itching caused by infections, injury, or other conditions. It also prevents and treats eye infections caused by bacteria. It works by killing or preventing the growth of bacteria. It also decreases inflammation, which can reduce pain. It is a combination of an antibiotic and a steroid. It will not treat infections caused by viruses.
