DRONABINOL (droe NAB i nol) prevents and treats nausea and vomiting from chemotherapy. It is often prescribed when other medications have not worked well enough or cannot be tolerated. It may also be used to treat loss of appetite and weight loss in patients with chronic conditions. It belongs to a group of medications called cannabinoids.
