    Interaction: Caffeine-containing Foods/Beverages

Notes for Consumers: Caffeine may decrease the actions of Dipyridamole when it is used during heart testing. Discuss your Caffeine intake (including intake of coffee, colas, teas, or herbal supplements) with your health care provider prior to any procedures or examinations involving heart function. However, when Dipyridamole is used on a regular basis to prevent blood clots and strokes, an interaction with Caffeine is not expected.

An interaction is not expected when methylxanthines are used concomitantly with the chronic dipyridamole therapy.
