TRAVOPROST (TRA voe prost) treats conditions with increased pressure of the eye, such as glaucoma. It works by decreasing the amount of fluid in the eye, which helps lower eye pressure.
This medicine may be used for other purposes; ask your health care provider or pharmacist if you have questions.

This is an implant that slowly releases medication in the eye. It is placed by your care team in a hospital or clinic setting.
Talk to your care team about the use of this medication in children. Special care may be needed.
Overdosage: If you think you have taken too much of this medicine contact a poison control center or emergency room at once.
NOTE: This medicine is only for you. Do not share this medicine with others.

Interactions are not expected. Do not use any other eye products without talking to your care team.

Visit your care team for regular checks on your progress. Tell your care team if your symptoms do not start to get better or if they get worse.
This medication may cause a change in eye color. This may not occur for several months or years. Talk to your care team if this happens. The change in color may be permanent.
If you need an MRI, tell your care team about this medication. Your care team will need to follow certain conditions to ensure you are safely scanned.

Side effects that you should report to your care team as soon as possible:
-Allergic reactions—skin rash, itching, hives, swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat
-Change in vision
-Eye pain, redness, irritation, or discharge with blurry or decreased vision
-Sensitivity to light
Side effects that usually do not require medical attention (report these to your care team if they continue or are bothersome):
-Change in eye color
-Dry eyes
-Eye irritation or itching
