ASPIRIN; CITRIC ACID; SODIUM BICARBONATE (AS pir in; SIT rik AS id; SOW dee um bye KAR bun ate) treats occasional heartburn, indigestion, or upset stomach. It can also relieve body aches and pains caused by stomach discomfort. It works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach. It also decreases inflammation. It is a combination of an NSAID and antacid.

  • Ofloxacin 0.3%, Ophthalmic drops, solution

    Interaction: Enteral Feedings
    Severity: Major
    Notes for Consumers: Enteral feedings, such as Ensure or Sustacal, may decrease the actions of Ofloxacin, by decreasing its absorption from the stomach. Take Ofloxacin 2 hours before or 2 hours after you take Enteral Feedings to limit an interaction. Let your health care provider know you are using Enteral Feedings. Contact your health care provider if your condition being treated by Ofloxacin does not improve.
    Notes for Professionals: Enteral feedings may decrease the serum concentrations of ofloxacin if administered concurrently. Ofloxacin administration is recommended either 2 hours before or 2 hours after iron or other mineral administration. Enteral feedings may also affect the serum concentrations of selected quinolone antimicrobials. The enteral formulation Ensure significantly decreased the serum concentrations of ofloxacin tablets by 46% when they were crushed and mixed with 240 ml of Ensure.
